It started with an adventure to Peru. I was traveling with a dear friend to experience the natural beauty Peru offers such as Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, Cusco, and Trujillo. I was especially drawn to Trujillo’s reputation as specialists in leather shoes. That curiosity led me to explore a tannery, engage with artisans specialized in leather crafting and ultimately kindle a vision that is now AMBOS.

AMBOS, meaning both or los dos, represents the connection between artisans and conscious consumers who value knowing where their products come from. Like many, I’ve become more aware of the impact of the fast fashion industry and was eager to find a way to provide timeless leather bags that will last across decades instead of just a season.
